Description
The web application allows you to set up the display of traffic accidents so that different backgrounds and different layers are displayed. The bases include transparent and topographical maps and orthophoto imagery, and the data layers include different types of roads, railways, water, municipalities and regional boundaries, contours of buildings, names of topographical features and data on road accidents. Data from tables that a user accesses by clicking on characteristics on a map can be copied in a web browser and then pasted into documents in other software tools (such as a text editor, a spreadsheet) for reporting preparation or for further analysis.
The data is obtained from the following databases:
— traffic accident database, Police;
— public information of Slovenia, Surveying and Mapping Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (GURS): backgrounds (cards and orthophoto imagery) and water, municipal boundaries, regional boundaries, economic public infrastructure, building cadastre and topographic names;
— data on national roads, Directorate of the Republic of Slovenia for Infrastructure.
