This dataset contains information on 46 hand-dug wells which were constructed under the USAID Tenure and Global Climate Change (TGCC) program for plant nursery irrigation. The data contains initial information collected in November 2015 on well location, use, accessibility, and maintenance. Follow-up monitoring of a sub-set of these wells was done in May 2016 to measure well volume, chlorine treatment, and protection measures. This data was collected on GPS enabled mobile devices, which allowed enumerators to plot the precise location of these wells across five chiefdoms in Zambia: Maguya, Mkanda, Mnukwa, Mshawa, and Sairi. |
