The Time Use Survey is a statistical survey that gathers
information from a representative sample of households on their composition, housing conditions, employment, education level, employment situation, health of their members, etc. and, in particular, on the way in which the members of the country's households allocate their time to a full 24-hour working day and a public holiday or Saturday or Sunday, i.e. the use and
a breakdown of their time by main activity (work, household chores, childcare or
elderly people, commuting, recreation, etc.), other important parallel activity, etc.
