Hotel Opportunities Areas
Description
This opportunity map is part of the Regional Hotel Strategy 2016-2022. The opportunity map shows promising areas for hotel development, which the municipality wants to bring extra attention to. The areas have been chosen based on the possibility of dispersion and a greater variety of hotels. If a hotel initiative is located in an area of opportunity, this is positive, but each hotel initiative must go through the entire hotel ladder well and based on the overall outcome, a consideration is made whether an initiative can proceed. In areas that are not green on the opportunity map, hotels can still be developed. The opportunity map does not exclude areas, it indicates areas where the municipality(s) prefer to see hotel development and which may not yet be on the sights of developers.
