Water Test Kit Evaluation in India
Description
MIT D-Lab, in partnership with USAID and the Comprehensive Initiative on Technology Evaluation (CITE) at MIT, evaluated single- and multi-parameter water test kits on the market in India’s Gujarat State. The water test kit evaluation included the key components of product evaluation, outreach and partnership, and methodology development. In locations without access to reliable, low cost water testing labs, development organizations and national governments have looked to portable water test kits as a way for households to regularly check the safety of their water.
