Walrus Haulout Outlines Apparent from Aerial Survey Images Collected Near Point Lay Alaska, September 2024
Description
This dataset provides walrus haulout group outlines in a shapefile format. These data are based on visual interpretation of imagery from aerial surveys by a small uncrewed aerial system (sUAS) operated by the U.S. Geological Survey Alaska Science Center, over large groups of walruses resting onshore near Point Lay, Alaska during September of 2024.
