Description
This dataset consists of the complete set of processed aerial imagery and survey data from walrus haulouts collected by unoccupied aerial system (UAS) surveys near Pt. Lay, Alaska, during the autumn 2024 and 2025. The data include georeferenced optical three band (red, green, blue) aerial images and orthoimages derived from those aerial images through the standardized structure from motion algorithms. These high-resolution images are considered sensitive and are not publicly accessible. Requests for access will be reviewed by the USGS Alaska Science Center and the Eskimo Walrus Commission (EWC).
