Walrus Haulout Aerial Survey Data Near Point Lay, Alaska, 2024

This dataset consists of the complete set of processed aerial imagery and survey data from walrus haulouts collected by unoccupied aerial system (UAS) surveys near Pt. Lay, Alaska, during the autumn of 2024. The data include orthoimages derived from georeferenced optical three band (red, green, blue) aerial images through the standardized structure from motion algorithms. These high-resolution images are considered sensitive and are not publicly accessible. Requests for access will be reviewed by the USGS Alaska Science Center and the Eskimo Walrus Commission (EWC).
