Representative selection from the collection “Armies & Uniforms” of the Swiss National Museum

Weapons:
It is one of the most extensive and important collections of weapons in Switzerland from the High Middle Ages to the mid-20th century. The stock includes mainly war-ready weapons (stock of the Zürcher Zeughaus), but also civilian weapons such as representation, shooter and sports weapons.
Uniforms:
The collection consists of uniforms, headgear, equipment and badges/orders. The Uniform Collection is a reference collection for cantonal and federal uniforms and equipment from the 18th-20th century.
