Description
The records of the foundlings are part of the archives of the Commission of Civil Houses of God. Each page in these registers is a kind of personal file of the foundling on which various data can be found: name, (suspected) date of birth and age, location... It also usually said what had happened to the child after it was found: Deceased, placed with a nurse, returned to the mother...
