Vegetation monitoring Johnsbach — comparison survey 2015
Description
With the restoration of the Johnsbach in the course of the LIFE project Nature Conservation Strategies for Forest and Wild River in the Gesäuse 2005-2011, a comparison monitoring of selected vegetation units close to streams was started. Together with older photographs by PETUTSCHNIG et al. from 1998 and selected images of the monitoring project on continuous observation of dynamic sites in the Gesäuse National Park (KLIPP & SUEN 2011), the comparisons of 2006 and 2010 (KREINER et al. 2011) now again (as of 2015).
The following report provides an overview of the changes in the species composition of vegetation units due to flux dynamics and forest development, a short syntaxonomic characterisation as well as a comparison of selected photographs of 2015, 2010 and 2006.
