Description
The nature value map Utrecht shows where in Utrecht there are habitats of special and protected plants and animals. These habitats are divided into: 1) stone and buildings, 2) shore and water, 3) trees, forest and shrubs, 4) grass and herbs, 5) biotope transcending species. By selecting habitats you can see which plant and animal species are present. By clicking on the triangle, you can see which other plants or animals are present in the same area.
Disclaimer: The nature value map can NOT serve as a substitute for professional ecological research (a so-called quickscan or further investigation), which may be necessary, for example, when applying for a building permit. The map is a snapshot (2018) and by definition not complete as the municipality has not been scrutinised and types of a site can widen or relocate there. No rights can be derived from the card.
