These layers are a compilation of study sites, watersheds, and areas of interest associated with the USGS Chesapeake Bay Theme 1 and Theme 2 activities.
Locations in this dataset were compiled from various USGS Chesapeake Bay activities and with input from USGS scientists to indicate study areas under multiple projects associated with USGS Chesapeake Bay Science Theme 1 and Theme 2 activities.
Data and areas provided here represent current and historical sites as of June 2024 to highlight activity locations and areas of interest throughout the Chesapeake Bay Watershed and may not be appropriate for detailed analysis.
