Description
SCIENTIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE CAMPAIGN The main objective of the RadProf0208 Campaign is the thermohaline and biogeochemical characterization in the oceanic waters of the Galicia-Cantabrico region in three standard transects perpendicular to the coast in Finisterre, Ortegal and Cabo Mayor (Santander) covering the entire water column up to about 5000m deep. These transects are part of the time series of campaigns initiated in 2003 by which hydrographic sampling is carried out biannually.
