Campaign: INTEMARES-CANAL 0419
Description
The objective of the INTEMARES-CANAL0419 cruise is to evaluate the impact of fishing on vulnerable benthic habitats of the LIC Canal de Menorca's circa-littoral bottoms. More specifically, trawl fishing in the maërl (habitat 1110) and artisanal fisheries, mainly trammel trawl for the capture of lobster, on coralligenous (Habitat 1170). To do this, it is proposed to compare the ecological parameters of these communities in bottom subject to different levels of fishing exploitation.
