Description
The overall purpose in the planned ESMAREC 0514 survey is the study of the structure and dynamics of complex deep ecosystems systems of the Le Danois (El Cachucho) bank. In this sense include activities to: - Geomorphological study of certain priority areas by multibeam mapping. Estimation of the spatial distribution of hard bottom habitats and environmental features, with special priority by the classified 1170-reefs. Estimating the abundance and spatial distribution of epibenthic communities on rocky habitats and cold water coral reefs. Dynamics associated with tidal currents and shorter to interact with points of abrupt topography frequencies.
