Road network landmarks [BD TOPO®] - Department of La Manche
Description
**Definition of IGN**: Point created by the road network manager along a road section and used to ensure the
linear referencing of objects or events along this route.
It is physically materialized by painted marks associated with terminals or pads called "PR"
(definition of CEREMA).
The RP makes it possible to set up a positioning system on the road network.
