Footpaths in metric precision of the PDIPR - Department of the Territory of Belfort
Description
The Departmental Plan for Walking and Hiking Routes (PDIPR) was created by Law No. 83-663 of 22 July 1983. Its purpose is to preserve the network of rural paths but also to guarantee the continuity of hiking routes. It is an effective tool to manage and improve route networks in an environmentally friendly way. It is also an opportunity to better organise the practice and promote the territories.
The registration of a route in the ICRP legally protects it, so it is enforceable against third parties in the case of projects that may threaten the practice or modify its characteristics.
This data contains the walking trails of the Departmental Council of the Territory of Belfort in metric accuracy, representing about 600 km of trails.
