Description
EPCI — New boundaries of the Public Establishments of Intercommunal Cooperation on January 1, 2017 on the Loiret Department.
The Public Establishments of Intercommunal Cooperation are structures which involve several municipalities within an inter-communal grouping with own taxation whose objective is to conduct joint spatial planning and economic development projects and to jointly manage services to the population and community facilities of Community interest.
Public establishments are communities of municipalities, conurbation communities, urban communities or metropolises.
The departmental scheme of intercommunal cooperation (SDCI) was approved by the Préfet du Loiret on 30 March 2016.
As of January 1, 2017, the Loiret has an urban community, an agglomeration community and 14 communities of municipalities. For precision: the Community of Municipalities of the Oratorian Beauce is attached to the Loir-et-Cher department.
