Sensitive Natural Spaces in the Mayenne Department

Description

Location of Sensitive Natural Spaces (ENS) managed by the County Council of Mayenne. Created by Article 12 of Law No 85-729 of 18 July 1985, the objective of the ENS is to preserve the quality of sites, landscapes, natural environments and natural fields of flood expansion and to ensure the safeguarding of natural habitats. The department is competent to develop and implement a policy of protection, management and openness to the public of ENS. The NSE data correspond to the 58 areas identified in the Departmental Schema of Sensitive Natural Spaces adopted in December 2018.
