Forest building lines

Description

The forest building line is a buffer zone of 300 m around forests. The forest building line applies to all public forests and to private forests with a contiguous area of at least 20 ha. Within the building line, there is a ban on building. The building line can either be registered as valid or terminated. The purpose of the forest building line is to ensure the value of forests as landscape elements and to maintain the forest edges as valuable habitats for plant and animal life.
