Public Engagement Initiatives

Description

Public Engagement initiatives, broken down by reference year. It is a set of non-profit activities with educational, cultural and social development value primarily aimed at external users and non-experts. In particular: - organisation of concerts, theatrical performances, film festivals, sporting events, exhibitions, exhibitions and other public utility events open to the community; publications (paper and digital) for non-academic audiences - production of radio and television programmes - publication and management of websites and other social channels for communication and scientific dissemination (excluding the university’s institutional website) - organisation of initiatives for the valorisation, consultation and sharing of research (e.g. events for interaction between researchers and the public, debates, scientific festivals and cafes, on-line consultations) - health protection initiatives (e.g. information and prevention days, screening and awareness-raising campaigns) - activities of involvement and interaction with the school world (eg simulations, hands-on experiments other laboratory activities, innovative teaching, children's university) - participation in the formulation of programmes of public interest (policy-making) - participatory democracy initiatives (e.g. consensus conferences, citizen panels) - knowledge co-production initiatives (e.g.: citizen science, contamination lab)
