Description

The Travel Monitoring Analysis System (TMAS) - Class dataset was updated on December 31, 2022 and was created on May 25, 2023 by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The TMAS Continuous Vehicle Classification (CVC) data represents both the FHWA 13 vehicle types and length-based class as defined by the 2001 Traffic Monitoring Guide (TMG).
