RIVER WATER BASIN MANAGEMENT PLAN OF THE AEGEAN ISLANDS AQUATIC APARTMENT

Description

The Management Plan is both a strategic planning document for the Aegean Islands Water District, which provides the necessary information and operational guidelines for the integrated management of water resources and ecosystems, and the central reporting mechanism of the country to the European Commission, regarding water resources. Its implementation lays the foundations for supporting a stable water management policy, leading to effective protection and rational use of valuable water resources. The Management Plan was drawn up in application of Directive 2000/60/EC and all the legislative provisions adopted in the context of the harmonisation of National Legislation with this Directive.
