Survey data for weed seedbank across farms with varying tillage practices in Eastern India
Description
This project compiled germinable seedbank counts from 84 farmers’ fields in Bihar and Eastern Uttar Pradesh, India. Soil samples were submitted for soil texture and chemical analyses. Seedbank soil samples were collected from pairs of neighboring fields with similar soils and microclimates but differing in historic tillage (conventional tillage [CT] versus zero tillage [ZT]) and crop rotation practices (rice-wheat versus ricemaize/potato-rice-wheat).
