Survey : CEND 4/07 (part of Data Collection Regulation Survey, Qtr 1 (FSS: DCRDC))
Description
This survey was undertaken by Cefas as part of the Data Collection Regulation
Survey, Qtr 1 (FSS: DCRDC);
Six surveys of a series to collect biological data on fish stocks in support
of the EU Data Collection Regulation (DCR). Fishing was undertaken using a
Portuguese High Headline Trawl (PHHT) and 4m Beam Trawl, using a subset of the
station grid previously fished on Cefas Celtic Sea Groundfish Surveys. The
station grid was not a fixed target and was deviated from as dictated by
weather, catch rates and/or sampling needs.
Survey took place between 03/03/2007 and 16/03/2007 on CEFAS Endeavour

- Beam Trawl 4m steel commercial 3/5 link mat flip up 40mm No Blinder
- Beam Trawl 4m steel commercial 3/5 link mat flip up 75mm CE 40mm liner AFT
- Otter Trawl PHHT Poly doors, Rubber bobbins, Liner
- Otter Trawl PHHT Poly doors, Rubber bobbins, Liner, Bunt Tickler
