Incentive scheme Sustainable Energy Transition (SDE++) data OT models 2020 PBL
Description
The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy (EZK) has asked PBL to issue an opinion on the opening of the SDE++ in 2020.
Since 2011, the SDE+ has been the most important instrument for stimulating the generation of renewable energy in the Netherlands. Within this scheme, the cost of renewable energy of various technologies is determined annually, referred to as the basic amount within the SDE+ scheme. In addition, the correction amount and the basic price are also important components of the SDE+ scheme.
In 2020, the existing SDE+ scheme will be extended to the SDE++. In addition to categories for the production of renewable energy, CO2-reducing options other than renewable energy are also eligible for subsidy. This ensures that the regulations and the methodology and therefore the principles for the SDE+ are expanded in such a way that they are also applicable to a wider range of CO2-reducing categories.
The calculations for the basic amounts corresponding to the SDE++ opinions were made using the Unprofitable Top Model (OT model). These datasets of these OT models can be downloaded.
