In an election to the House of Representatives, the Dutch elect the representatives of the House of Representatives. Elections to the House of Representatives, according to the Electoral Act, take place in principle every four years, in March. If elections are already held for the City Council or Provincial States in that year, the Second Chamber elections will be held in May. Sometimes it can be decided to hold early elections. This happens, among other things, when there is a cabinet. These elections can be held every month.
