Description

CN (Combined Nomenclature) Description: The KN is the European version of the Harmonised System (HS). It is composed of 8-digit numerically encoded positions. The very numerous breakdowns are adapted to the specific EU customs and foreign trade statistical needs. The CN is revised annually. The versions of the CN are always linked to the respective year (e.g. CN 2008 applies to the year 2008). Relationship with other classifications: ISIC, NACE, ÖNACE, CPC, HS, SITC, CPA, ÖCPA, PRODCOM, ÖPRODCOM
