Building and housing census – Buildings – Time series from 2011

Description

The building and dwelling census as part of the register census represents a full survey of buildings and apartments and their characteristics as of 31.10. Register counting is carried out by means of analysis of administrative and register data. The basis of the building and housing census is the Building and Housing Register (GWR) of Statistik Austria. The content concept is governed by the EU regulation for population and housing censuses as well as the national Austrian Register Census Act (BGBl. I No 33/2006).
