State of the art for surface treatment plants with organic solvents
Description
The report describes the state of the art of plants for the treatment of surfaces with organic solvents. In particular, packaging printing, winding wire coating, strip sheet coating, vehicle painting, surface cleaning by means of ethanol and areas of application of solvents for finishing web-shaped materials are presented. Describing the associated production technologies and the emission control technology used, emission values for the processes are derived according to the state of the art for organic carbon compounds, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide and dust. Diffuse VOC emissions are calculated on the basis of solvent balances and industry-specific values are determined. Emission values for waste water are also derived from wastewater processes.
