Establishments subject to Seveso Regulations
Description
The data represent the area occupied by the Seveso plants registered in the regional register pursuant to Regional Law No 32/92. The area is that enclosed within the perimeter of the area owned by the manager and therefore includes, in addition to the production plants, all the other areas dedicated to ancillary services. The information is entered and managed in the SIAR - Information System
Active at Major Accident Risk. In addition to area georeferencing, establishments are described by the following information: personal data, registered office, organizational structure, position with respect to Seveso regulations, administrative activity (documents sent: Notification, safety report, time schedule, increased risk, etc.), control activities (checks on the safety management system, technical investigations, verification of requirements and surveillance checks), substances held (physical status, quantity, etc.), incidental hypotheses (geo-referencing, production area/plant, incidental type, generating substances, frequency of occurrence, incidental scenarios, damage areas -high lethality distance, lethality start distance, etc.-, hazard centre) and authorisation status in relation to fire prevention. There is also information on the existence of the plant-specific contingency plan for the industrial hazard aspect. The area of ownership is declared by the operators of the plants and is loaded into the SIAR by the Piedmont Region.
