Sentinel-2 Vegetation Index (NDVI) Image Series
Description
Series of images of the European Copernicus programme acquired through the Sentinel-2 satellite for the geographical area of the Autonomous Community of Navarre. These products have been generated as vegetation indices (NDVI) following algebraic operations between the red and infrared spectral bands of the electromagnetic spectrum NDVI = (B8 — B4)/(B8 + B4). For some of the dates, a novel Super Resolution process has been carried out, improving the pixel size to 2.5 m. All are monthly cloud free images (if the weather allows) from May 2016 to the present. The products are made available to users in ECW format.
