Data set of Protected sites according to the INSPIRE Directive
Description
Spatial data set of the protected sites of Navarra according to the INSPIRE Directive, complying with the specifications of the Protected Sites theme of Annex I. It includes the information regarding the protected sites included in the European inventory (CDDA) and the spaces of the Natura 2000 Network. The CDDA is made up of the Natural Monuments and the Network of Protected Natural Spaces (RENA), formed in turn by: recreational natural áreas, natural enclaves, protected landscapes, natural parks, integral reserves and nature reserves. The Natura 2000 Network is composed of: Sites of Community Importance (SCI), Special Areas of Conservation (SAC) and Special Protection Areas for Birds (ZEPA).
All these layers of information define spaces with certain natural or scenic values ??whose objective is to achieve the complete preservation of all the ecosystems they contain, avoiding any action that may involve their destruction, deterioration, transformation, disturbance, or disfigurement of the same, compatible with nature conservation and environmental education.
