Description
Series: CTEX10 or Topographic Cartography of Extremadura on a scale of 1/10,000. Number of sheets in the complete series: 1433. Geographical area where it is located: Autonomous Community of Extremadura (Spain). Planimetric reference system between 2003-2007: ED50. Planimetric reference systems between 2007-2010: ED50 and ETRS89. Planimetric reference system since 2011: ETRS89. Projection systems: UTM spindles 29N and 30N. Each blade is made in its corresponding spindle and the blades containing the spindle shift line are found in both spindles: 29 and 30. Altimetric reference system: Average sea level in the tide gauge of Alicante (Spain-peninsula). Equidistance between contour lines: Five meters. Theoretical altimetric accuracy: 1.25 meters. Theoretical planimetric accuracy: 1 meter. Storage formats: DGN in 3D and DXF in 2D and 3D. Each map sheet has a Database in Access with information linked to the DGN file. Between 2003-2007, in addition to the digital files, it is also archived on polyester paper. Since 2008, it stops plotting on paper and PDF files are generated with fills of constructions and bodies of water. GENERAL DESCRIPTION. The CTEX10 series presents the traditional content of topographic mapping. Physical geography: relief, hydrography and land use. Human geography: population centers and constructions, natural resources and industry, communication routes, administrative divisions and geodetic supports. Toponymy and labeling.
