IHM Electronic Chart Catalog (ENC) display service
Description
This service shows nautical information derived from the production flow of the official electronic nautical cartography (IHM) Visualization service of the Electronic Chart Catalog (ENC) of the IHM, therefore, the information shown has great similarity with that of the ENC. This should not confuse the user so that he can interpret that the information shown is likely to be used for any activity related to navigation, since its security would be seriously compromised. The official nautical cartography is updated weekly by the "Weekly Group of Notices to Navigators" that informs the navigator of the updates that must be made in the official nautical cartography to include all those new dangers that may have arisen. In addition, for those most urgent dangers to notify, Maritime Rescue (SASEMAR), uses the coastal radio-warning system that keeps the navigator informed continuously. On the contrary, the rate of update of this service is much lower, and in no case offers security for navigation. On the part of the IHM, it declines any kind of responsibility in the use, for nautical purposes, of the information provided here.
