Digital photograms gallery of CNIG

Description

Visualisation service that allows you to view original frames of photogrammetric flights made over the national territory. Each layer offers frames of a different flight and each flight has certain dates and flight scale characteristics., through these layers you can consult the characteristics of the flight and each frame, including its download links. This service also allows you to consult, through its infoFlights layer, the Database of the Archive of the Photo Library of the CNIG, to obtain the flights available in the Archive of the Photo Library of the CNIG that cannot be published through a WMS service, but that are available to the citizen in its service of attention to the public (fototeca@cnig.es). The frames of historical flights only have approximate coordinates of the center of the frame and mostly do not have angles of orientation (necessary for the positioning of the image). For this reason, when viewing frames with a map or background image, there can be displacement between both sources of information. There are also displacements due to the fact that it is a frame and not an orthophoto. The frames of PNOA flights, although better positioned, suffer from the displacements due to the fact that it is a frame and not an orthophoto. The frames of historical flights are the result of the digitisation of the analog product (frame negative), since on the dates on which these flights were made digital cameras were not used in photogrammetry. Historical flights are not fully digitised, alternate frames of each flight have been digitised and there are undignified zones. The frames of the PNOA flights cover different areas of the national territory depending on the flight year, the surfaces flown each year can be consulted at http://pnoa.ign.es/vuelo-fotogrametrico. Access or connection to this service to obtain the functionalities for which it is intended is free in any case, provided that the authorship of the IGN as owner of the service and its content (which can be stored for private use) is mentioned as follows: “© National Geographical Institute of Spain”.
