Description
Copernicus Land Monitoring Service: Pan - European High Resolution Layers: provide information on specific land cover characteristics, and are complementary to land cover / land use mapping such as in the CORINE land cover (CLC) datasets. The HRLs are produced from satellite imagery.
Local Component: provide specific and more detailed information that is complementary to the information obtained through the Pan-European component. The local component focuses on different hotspots (areas that are prone to specific environmental challenges and problems).There are three local components: Urban Atlas, Riparian Zones and Natura 2000.
