Spain in the World. Section IX of the National Atlas of Spain
Description
Section IX of the National Atlas of Spain shows the global geographic context in which Spain is situated and its international presence. This planetary perspective allows for a better understanding of Spain's geographic position, demographic dynamics, and levels of well-being, compared to developed countries. The structure follows the same thread as the rest of the atlas, addressing first the natural environment, then the human aspect, and finally the environment. Additionally, Spain's presence abroad is evaluated based on four pillars: language, population and economy, cooperation and foreign relations, and participation in the European Union and international organizations.
