Thematic series: Soil permeability and aquifer recharge in the Valencian Community
Description
Thematic series of soil permeability and aquifer recharge of the Valencian Community at a scale of 1:50.000,made from mapping of critical soils for the recharge of aquifers prepared considering the permeability of the territory based on its lithological nature, and its relationship with the underlying aquifer,as well as the state of the underground water masses, both from the quantitative and qualitative point of view. By crossing both variables, some soil categories are obtained that will allow the inclusion of the areas with the highest permeability and water quality to the green infrastructure of the territory, and an incorporation of this cartography into territorial and urban planning.Cartographic official series CV50 ellaborated by the Institut Cartogràfic Valencià has been used as a reference map base.ETRS89 geodetic reference system.
