Mobile Offline Collection: Hybrid Basemap
Description
The HYBRID offline map collection is prepared to view cartography of the Valencian Community on mobile devices without the need for an internet connection. These are tessellated maps at various scales, corresponding to the HYBRID basemap of the Valencian Community. The Hybrid Map is one of the layers available by default within the iframe of the Cartography Viewer of the Generalitat Valenciana (IDEV) and is made from the integration of various cartographic products made by the ICV: information on road transport networks and by rail extracted from the IGR of Transport Networks (RTCV), the hierarchical toponymy of the NTV (Nomenclator Toponímic Valencià) and finally with the Current Image Base Map as background image (year 2021). It is distributed in MBTiles map format, an open format with multi-layer capabilities to display different mapping resolutions-scales at different zoom levels. The download unit is by province and by autonomous community. Spherical Mercator projection (EPSG:3857)
