General Inventory of Valencian Cultural Heritage. Section 1: Surrounding protected areas of Assets of Cultural Interest

Description

This layer represents the "Assets of cultural interest protected áreas", Law 4/1998, of June 11, on Valencian Cultural Heritage. Article 28 of Law 4/98 defines the content that should be included in the declaration of Assets of Cultural Interest. In article 28.1. It is specified that the decree declaring an asset of cultural interest will clearly determine the values of the asset that justify the declaration... In article 28.2. it is said that in case of immovable assets, it will also be determined: a) Character with which they are declared, according to the classification contained in article 26 of this law. b) Delimitation of the protection area in the case of historical monuments and gardens, in any case. In ethnological spaces and archaeological and paleontological zones the environment will be delimited except in ethnological, archaeological, and paleontological areas will be delimited except in cases of justified unnecessariness... Assets of cultural interest protected areas are located using a polygon. The layer is updated continuously.
