Railway network in the Valencian Community

Description

Digital base of the railway and tram network in the Valencian Community. It is a three-dimensional network of autonomous coverage with implicit topology where the linear elements that make up the railway communication systems are collected, including the different routes, ownership, categories, as well as the width of the track, differentiating between UIC, width Iberian, mixed and metric width. The information is complemented with another set of data that locates the level crossings, stations, and railway stops existing in the territory along with the kilometer points associated with the railway network that allow the location on the tracks. The General Interest Railway Network (RFIG) is identified and cataloged according to ADIF criteria and references. The GVA railway network is identified in accordance with the criteria and references established in the Catalog of railway and tram infrastructure of the Generalitat Valenciana (Catalegffcc) approved by ORDER 2/2016, of February 15, of the Conselleria de Vivienda, Obras Públicas y Vertebración del Territorio. Project framed in the National Cartographic System that is part of the IGR of Transportation Networks. Project framed in the National Cartographic System and aligned with the technical specifications of Network Transport to Directive 2007/2/EC for the establishment of a Spatial Information Infrastructure in Europe (INSPIRE)
