Water quality sampling points in the Valencian Community
Description
Water quality sampling points on beaches surveyed by the competent Ministry in the Valencian Community. The scope of the Control Programme in 2024 includes the 264 bathing areas surveyed in the Valencian Community (249 maritime and 15 continental), which are monitored by 289 sampling points (278 maritime and 15 continental). These points are located in the areas with the highest influx of bathers, where sampling can provide information that is representative of the quality of the bathing area, establishing several sampling points if the size of the bathing area so requires
