Geometric improvements carried out by the IGN
Description
Each boundary line between the municipalities is registered in the Central Registry of Cartography (RCC) according to its Registration Sheet.
The associated legal documentation is constituted by a Demarcation Act with the operation carried out, to recognize the terminus line and indicate the landmarks carried out by the Municipalities involved and the IGN. The technical documentation is made up of the field notebooks of the topographical surveys carried out and the plans of the time.
The geometry of the milestones has been obtained on the ground (GNSS instrumentation and/or total station) and the precise determination of the sections that join them. These works are subsequently ratified by additional minutes, administrative resolution or court ruling
