Official cartography of the Valencian Community at a scale of 1:5.000 from the Institut Cartogràfic Valencià
Description
Official reference vectorial cartographic series at a 1:5000 scale in 3D, created by the Institut Cartogràfic Valencià, that fully covers the Comunitat Valenciana. Realized by means of photogrammetric restitution based on digital flights between the years 2005-2022.
Geodetic Reference System ETRS89, UTM projection in zone 30. Vertical datum: altitudes are referred to the mean level of the Mediterranean Sea in Alicante. EPSG code: 25830. Planimetric precision 1 meter. Altimetric accuracy 1.25 meters.
The continuous cartographic base is structured for exploitation through Geographic Information Systems. The geographical phenomena that make up the series are structured in these 6 thematic units: orography, hydrography, constructions and buildings, transport networks, toponymy and land use.
