WMS Special Conservation Areas (SACs)
Description
WMS service composed of the delimitation of the Special Conservation Areas that are members of the Natura 2000 network in the Canary Islands declared according to DECRETO 174/2009 of 29 December 2009 and their zoning included in their corresponding management plans. The information has been provided by the Biodiversity Service (Directorate General for Nature Protection — Vice-Administration for the Environment) and corresponds to that contained in the management plans approved between 18 November 2013 and 1 April 2016. Their updating will be subject to the future renewal of these plans, the task of which is currently vested in the island councils.
