Description
Surface-to-sea continuous topobatimetric model of 2.5 meters resolution.
This model covers the entire relief emerged and the submerged relief to a variable depth between islands (from -65 m in Gran Canaria to -785 m in La Palma) and for its elaboration the digital model of the land obtained from LiDAR altimetry has been used for the land, and for the sea, the bathymetry of the different ecocartographies made with ecosondes. The topobatimetric model made is designed in the official reference system in the Canary Islands (UTM/WGS84), being the altimetric difference, being found in different levels of comparison (Zero geo-LiDAR/Zero hydrographic – bathymetric), which has required a detailed study for its conciliation.
