WMS Land Occupation Information System (SIOSE) Year 2009
Description
The Ministry of Public Works coordinates this project whose objective is to integrate the information of the Land Coverage and Use Databases of the Autonomous Communities and the General State Administration to serve as a basic tool in the planning and management of environmental resources. The geographical information layer consists of polygons that correspond to an area whose coverage can be considered as homogeneous (crops, water, scrub, etc.) or a combination of such homogeneous covers, which, in their variations, represent characteristic structures of land occupation.
