Description
16 cm/pixel and 10 cm/pixel resolution orthophotos.
The 16 cm/pixel orthophotos have been obtained with Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques starting from those generated at 20 cm/pixel. The orthophotos of 10 cm/pixel have been obtained with Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques starting from those generated at 11 cm/pixel.
Images in REGCAN95 compressed in TIFF format of extension of 2,500 by 2,500 meters and 1000 by 1000 meters. This information is accompanied by a shapefile distributor where the scope of the corresponding orthophotography is indicated.
An orthophoto, or orthophoto, is a geometrically corrected (orthorectified) aerial photograph. Unlike an aerial image, an orthophoto can be used to make real measurements since it is an accurate representation of the Earth's surface, in which the distortions inherent in aerial images have been corrected. Orthophotos combine the detail and temporal coverage characteristics of aerial photographs and the uniform scale and geometric accuracy of maps.
The planimetric error is therefore divided into two:
less than 1 m (RMS < 1 m) for orthophotos generated from flights with GSD 20 cm/pixel
less than 0.62 metres (RMS < 0.62 m) for orthophotos generated from flights with GSD 11 cm/pixel.
Flight data and resolution of orthophotos:
The Gomera of 10 cm/pixel, obtained from the flight GSD 11 cm/pixel executed from 12/02/2023 to 15/03/2023 (project 247).
Tenerife of 16 cm/pixel, generated from a flight GSD 20 cm/pixel executed from 15/01/2023 to 15/03/2023 (project 247).
Strongness of 10 cm/pixel, obtained from the flight GSD 11 cm/pixel made from 14/01/2023 to 25/03/2023 (project 247).
Gran Canaria of 10 cm/pixel, generated from a GSD flight 11 cm/pixel executed from 4/01/2023 to 14/01/2023 (project 247).
